My favorite pothead: Martha Stewart

You may or may not have checked my fellow Queens’ favorite stoners and you may or may not immediately notice a big difference between theirs and mine.

While they all went for a badass actor/director/performer, I decided to go for none other than Martha Motherfucking Stewart. The reason for this is quite simple: she’s a total Badass all round!

Martha Stewart is best known for her DIY shows where she transforms every day household chores and DIY projects into pieces of true art. Not just that: she’s a mean cook as well and her recipes are to die for!!

One other thing: she went to jail. And it’s impossible for me to explain how much I respect her for that. How many celebrities would have taken a plea and just bought off their punishment? Not Martha though! She went to jail with her head heald high. Even better: she made a shitton of money from the experience!

Okay so she didn’t sit out the entire sentence in jail, but she STILL did more of it than a lot of her fellow celebs have done or would do.

Is that the only reason I chose Martha? Because she’s a convicted felon who just happens to be very creative and money smart?

No! I chose Martha because she’s so fucking chill about it.

I’ve scoured the internet for hours in order to find a pic of her lighting one up, a controversial statement or even a part of an interview where she talks about her pot use. Surprise: there’s VERY little to find.

It wasn’t even until recently that she kept quiet about it. Though inviting Snoop Dogg to your show and making Marijuana related jokes is a bit of a give-away: she never kissed and told.

In 2013 however, on the Andy Cohen show, Martha displayed her supremacy by commenting on the shit job a couple did on rolling a joint as she saw it from her car window.

So here’s to the Queen of Pot Smoking Mommies and Homemakers! The inspiration to some of the best munchies-food, the savior of my hangry (hungry & angry) stomach.
