I Could have gone to Mars

OH MY GOD

Yesterday something aweful happened. I found out that I have could have gone to Mars. FOR FREE. If I would have signed up. BUT NO I missed the chance and now I can't believe that this has really happened. Did you guys hear about it?

So basically a bunch of people signed up for this Mars Move. ( 202 586 people) The programme pre-selected a 100 people. Afterwards, this will be further reduced until only 24 people remain that are being chosen to go and live on Mars.

HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED THIS???

However cool it may sound, it's not only sunshine and rainbows on Mars. There are some catches. First of all, its quite unlikely that you will ever return home to planet Earth (because you can't build a space centre on Mars since you don't have the equipment nor the knowledge since they are sending regular folks up there) . Secondly, maybe you will not like the people that you have to live with and yeah well it's kind of forever so I guess that might be problematic. And finally, a few researches have been conducted and it might be possible that you will starve because it's not a 100% certain that the vegetation will grow.

BUT all things considered, how cool would it be to read our blog when it would be written on Mars?

Oh well, one can dream right?
